Club Motorsports Appoints New President and New CEO

TAMWORTH, NH – The Board of Directors for Club Motorsports, Inc. (CMI), which is developing the Valley Motorsports Park country club in Tamworth, NH, announced today that the company is broadening its management team by appointing two prominent shareholders to lead the company through its final phase of environmental permitting and construction.

Lloyd C. Dahmen, a managing member of AlphaMetrics Capital Management LLC of Boston, MA, has been appointed President of Club Motorsports™, while Andrzej Brzezinski, president of LaserComp Inc. of Saugus, MA, has been named Chairman of the Board of Directors.

As president of CMI, Dahmen succeeds Stephan Condodemetraky, who will remain with the company as a development consultant.

“There comes a time when every growing company needs to broaden its leadership team,” said Dahmen, a respected, 40-year veteran of the investment and venture capital industry, “and I am very pleased and excited to be working with Andrzej to lead CMI through its final phases of permitting and construction.   We will continue to work proactively with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as they review our project, and we look forward to beginning construction in 2005 on what will be a world-class resort destination and economic development generator for Tamworth and the Mount Washington Valley region.”

Dahmen said the company is well positioned for continued growth, noting strong support from CMI’s Board of Directors, as well as a lead group of investors with a combined net worth exceeding $500,000,000.

Dahmen added, “Stephan Condodemetraky’s entrepreneurial spirit and vision launched this exciting project and helped it secure critical funding and permits in its early phases.   We look forward to continuing to rely on Stephan’s passion and expertise as a consultant to the company as we transition CMI to its next level.”

Dahmen stated CMI has made “good, steady progress thus far,” having secured two major permits from the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NH DES), with a third major permit application currently under review by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  Dahmen said the company is proud to have taken additional time and expense, when necessary, to respond thoroughly to regulators’ questions throughout the permitting process.  NH DES issued a Site Specific Permit for the motorsports country club project on September 20, 2004. On July 29, 2004, NH DES issued a “Wetlands and Non-Site Specific Permit” to the project.

Through wetland delineations agreed upon by NH DES, the US Army Corps of Engineers and the Tamworth Conservation Commission, Valley Motorsports Park will impact less than three-quarters of an acre of wetlands.  In granting the wetlands permit, NH DES wrote, “…that the project will not significantly impair the existing wetlands, surface waters, and groundwater resources.”

Lloyd C. Dahmen, age 63, is a managing member of AlphaMetrics Capital Management LLC, established in 1999.  Before AlphaMetrics, Mr. Dahmen served for seventeen years as a managing general partner of the Claflin Capital Partnerships and a vice president of Claflin Capital Management, Inc., a venture capital firm.  He holds an AB in Chemistry from Harvard College (1962) and an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business (1965). From 1962 to 1963, Mr. Dahmen served on active duty with the United States Air Force. He began his career in the private sector in 1965 as a portfolio manager at Scudder, Stevens & Clark. Mr. Dahmen’s charitable activities include serving as a director of Rogerson Communities, a provider of low income housing for elders, and The Brookline Music School.  For ten years he was Senior Warden at the Church of the Redeemer in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.  When not working or volunteering is time, Lloyd enjoys competitive rowing, automobiles and flying.

Andrzej Brzezinski, age 49, originally hails from Poznan, Poland, and now makes his home with his wife and three children in Lynnfield, MA.  He founded and serves as President of LaserComp, Inc. of Saugus, MA, a company that specializes in manufacturing thermo properties testing instruments for clients worldwide.

An original shareholder and member of CMI, Andrzej began performance driving when he moved to Boston in his early twenties. After a hiatus from driving to raise a family and start his company, Andrzej took up the sport again two years ago, achieved his Sports Car Club of America racing license last year, and completed his first season of Club Racing in the North East Region.

A first-of-its-kind concept for New England, the Valley Motorsports Park development is located in wooded land on the north face of Mount Whittier off Route 25 in Tamworth, approximately two miles west of the intersection of Routes 25 and 16.  Described as a “ribbon through the woods,” the road course would be available for use by its members, much like a golf course country club.  The $28 million development includes a more than three-mile, 18-turn, European-style road course for drivers and motorcyclists to develop and practice their driving skills and attend performance and safety driving schools.  In addition, Valley Motorsports Park will feature a vehicle dynamics area for driver development, short and long-term garage buildings, locker room and shower facilities, vehicle maintenance facilities, and a professional driving school.  The Clubhouse will feature spectacular views of the White Mountains, function rooms, a pool, tennis courts, an automobile museum, additional locker rooms, a closed circuit media center, and an elegant restaurant.
