CLUB MOTORSPORTS NOW OFFERING MEMBERSHIPS TO
“SPORTS CAR COUNTRY CLUB” IN TAMWORTH, NEW HAMPSHIRE
Website and Membership Hotline Established, Initial Membership Sales Zooming
TAMWORTH, NH – Club Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) announced today that it has officially begun offering individual and corporate memberships to its “sports car country club” that is currently under development in Tamworth, New Hampshire. Through its newly established website (www.clubmotorsports.com) and its membership hotline (603-437-FAST), CMI has begun taking membership applications from motorsports enthusiasts from across New England, and as far away as New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. CMI officials said that recent regional and national media reports on the project, combined with active chat sessions on marquee car club websites have driven a very strong initial response to membership sales. Several dozen motorsports enthusiasts have already applied for memberships at the various gold, silver, and bronze membership levels. (Editors – See attachments for information on individual and corporate membership levels and benefits.) Early membership sales have also been stoked by CMI’s discounted initiation fee for the first fifty members in each individual membership level.
“Initial response to membership offerings has far exceeded expectations,” said CMI Director of Sales and Marketing, Dan Croteau. “Owners of high performance sports cars from across New England are signing up now – so they can be lining up soon – to exercise their vehicles on our spectacular and challenging road course. We’ve had to hire additional staff to keep up with demand. Since we will only sell a limited number of memberships, and our initiation fee discount will only apply to the first fifty members at each level, we are encouraging prospective members to call our hotline or apply through our website soon.”
A first-of-its-kind for northern New England, the Club Motorsports Road Course development is located in wooded land on the north face of Mount Whittier off Route 25 in Tamworth, approximately two miles west of the intersection of Routes 25 and 16. Described as a “ribbon through the woods,” the road course would be available for use by its members, much like a golf course country club. There would be no stands or stadium seating, as the road course is not designed to be a spectator facility.
The $14 million Club Motorsports development includes a 3.3-mile, 21-turn, European-style road course for cars and drivers to develop and practice their driving skills and attend performance and safety driving schools. In addition, Club Motorsports will feature a vehicle dynamics area for driver development, short and long-term garage buildings, locker room and shower facilities, vehicle maintenance facilities, and a professional driving school. The Clubhouse will feature spectacular views of the White Mountains, function rooms, a pool, tennis courts, an automobile museum, additional locker rooms, a closed circuit media center, short-term lodging, and an elegant restaurant on its top floor.
