The Club Motorsports Story
Our Mission: Club Motorsports™ will build and develop premier motorsports country clubs. We will fulfill our member's passion for performance driving by providing them world-class road courses; combined with the amenities found at resort country clubs. Our members will experience the true thrill of performance driving with all the privileges of membership.
Our Story: The story of Club Motorsports, Inc. begins with the story of three friends - a builder, a sales professional, and an entrepreneur - who came together with a vision to create a first-of-its-kind facility for motorsports enthusiasts, a country club for drivers of high performance cars and motorcycles. The builder, Dave Mirabassi, and the salesman, Dan Croteau, are amateur racers and driving instructors who co-own a BMW M3 Lightweight - and who have been driving that "ultimate driving machine" at various road courses and tracks throughout the Northeast.
One Sunday evening in July 2002, during their long ride home from a weekend of driving at Canada's Le Circuit Mont Tremblant, Mirabassi and Croteau were traveling through New Hampshire's Mount Washington Valley region admiring its natural splendor. They quickly realized this beautiful area, where NH's Lakes Region meets the White Mountains, which already thrives on a robust tourism economy, would be an ideal location for a world-class road course. They knew that the area's relative proximity to major New England markets such as Boston, MA, Portland, ME, and the Concord-Manchester-Nashua, NH corridor also made sense.
The call was made to entrepreneur Stephan Condodemetraky, who had a great deal of experience building companies and raising capital. As drivers, Mirabassi and Croteau knew there was demand for a new road course in New England. As a businessman, Condodemetraky understood that this facility had to be something special - a place like no other road course in the Northeast.
After the initial launch of the company, the company's Board of Directors realized the need to broaden its management team; providing the company with a more seasoned and experienced management team. In late 2004, Lloyd C. Dahmen, a managing member of AlphaMetrics Capital Management LLC of Boston, MA, was appointed President and Andrzej Brzezinski, president of LaserComp Inc. of Saugus, MA, was named Chairman of the Board of Directors of Club Motorsports™.
Both Lloyd and Andrzej, two prominent shareholders in Club Motorsports™, will lead the company through its final phase of environmental permitting and construction. They are excited about the steady progress made thus far and feel the company is well positioned for continued growth noting the strong support from the company's Board of Directors, as well as a lead group of investors with a combined net worth exceeding $500,000,000.
VALLEY MOTORSPORTS PARK ™
In the fall of 2002, Club Motorsports, Inc. was formed. In November 2003, the Tamworth facility was officially named Valley Motorsports Park™. Our plans call for Valley Motorsports Park to begin construction in the summer of 2005. Soon drivers from all over the Northeast (and beyond) will be coming to Tamworth to experience firsthand the thrill of the newest, most unique motorsports park in the world.
It will offer memberships, like a golf club, and the opportunity to drive on a challenging but safe 3.3 mile, 18-turn road course. In addition, it will offer a package of amenities that can not be found anywhere else, including a vehicle dynamics area, garage service, professional driver training, a pro shop, and a Adirondack style clubhouse featuring an elegant restaurant, locker rooms, spa, pool, tennis courts, and a spectacular view of the mountains.
